It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Nuyen of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Lou Nuyen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Spencer "Jack" Bixler; her husband William D. Nuyen; and her siblings, Harriet Bixler, Jack Bixler and Theodore Bixler.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Nuyen, Cindi Craighead (Lou), Terri Nuyen and Ted Nuyen (Shelly). She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as a niece and a nephew.

Donations in Betty's memory may be made to Centrica Care Navigators (formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan), 7100 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
