Barbara Sweet Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2021, at the age of 92, Barbara Sweet (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Shaffer and Crystal Shaffer; her husband Richard Sweet; and her grandsons, Darrell Swinehart and Jason Sweet.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Sweet, Diane Swinehart, Debbie Cook, Delores Thompson (John), Susan Leversee (Rodney) and James Sweet (Shari); her grandchildren, Tammy, Hope, Jay, Billy, Angel, Rick Jr., Kenny, Heather, Melissa, Steven, Lisa, Jakob, Jessica, Angie, Ryan, Aaron, James Michael and Amanda; her brother Glenn Shaffer (Pat); her nephews, Roger and Glenn; and her niece Donna. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Barbara to the American Alzheimer's Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
