It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Slates (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carlisle and Irene Carlisle. She is survived by: her husband Robert Slates; her sons, R. Trent Slates (Cindy), David Slates (Jessica) and Stephen Slates (Joy); and her brother Rex "Ed" Carlisle (Cheryl).
