Barbara Lee Geresy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2022, at the age of 84, Barbara Lee Geresy (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayland Jones and Evelyn Jones (Newlin); her son-in-law Rick Grooten; her parent-in-law Louie Geresy Sr. (Viola); and also, Emily and Holly.

She is survived by: her husband Louie; her children, Jim Geresy (Lisa) of Kalamazoo, Evonne Heystek (Steve) of Kalamazoo and Steve Geresy of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Christian Geresy, Sarah Taplin (Dave), Julie Fennell (Chris), Vicki Thornburgh (Chad), Casey Grooten, Steve and Emma Geresy; her sister-in-law Margaret Babcock; and her cousin Carrie Graham (Fred). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to Valley View Bible Church or ProMedica Hospice, c/o the funeral home.
