She is survived by: her husband David Glen Buchanan; her children, David Smith (Toni) of Kalamazoo, Kimberly Guess of Kalamazoo and Anthony Buchanan (Jonyelle) of Mesquite, TX; her grandchildren, Jalen Smith, Taraji Leonard, Lavelle Guess II and Carter Buchanan; her siblings, Barbara Haley of Kalamazoo, MI, Patricia Brown (James Cook) of Kalamazoo, MI, Mary Roberts (Carl) of Kalamazoo, MI, Lonnie Haley (Kathryn) of Kalamazoo, MI, Robert Haley, Jr. (Faye) of Olive Branch, MS, Larry Haley (Patricia) of Kalamazoo, MI and George McMillion (Ramona); her close friend Rhonda Little (Sam); and her godchildren, Daymeon of Kalamazoo, MI., Romeo of Kalamazoo, MI. and Kareem Little of Kalamazoo, MI.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends and co-workers.
