He is survived by: his wife Theresa Szakas of Attorney's Office; his son Nicholas; and his sister Clementina of Nevada. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He regularly donated his surplus crops to non-profit organizations and provided pumpkins and gourds to area teachers for student projects.
