He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Charles Hawkins and Annie Lee (Tyler); and his brother Robert Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hawkins of Kalamazoo; his children, Allen (Stacey) of Kalamazoo, Takilah of Kalamazoo, Kawan of Kalamazoo, Tajane' of Kalamazoo and Kasen Hawkins of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Naya, Christopher, Jalen Reynolds and Takai Hawkins; his great grandchild Kaden Hawkins; and his siblings, Herman Hawkins (Yvonne) of Kalamazoo, Sylvester Hawkins (Linda) of Dayton, Linda Hawkins of Kalamazoo and Inez Ivory of Kalamazoo.
