He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Robinson and Ethel Fay Hunter; his former wife Iola Davis; his siblings, Mamie Newton, Geraldine Layfayette and Thomas Robinson; and his stepdaughter Sandra Day.
He is survived by: his son Alfred Owen Robinson (Anita); his wife Gladys; his siblings, Edwina Robinson, Eleanor Cochran, James Robinson (Caroline) and Joseph Robinson (Betty); and his stepchildren, Toni Parker, Carla Norman (Arthur), Renee Goodwin, Lorraine Braxton, Kenneth Goodwin, Gregory Lindsay and Cory Lindsay. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
