It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alemus Floyd Davis (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Marvell, Arkansas, who passed away on November 16, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Davis and Sally Davis; and his siblings, Sadie Lavern (Willie Gen Thomas) and Leon Davis. He is survived by: his former wife Catherine Bearfield; his nephew Victor Simone Davis; his children, Theresa Jones (Leslie) and Rodney Brewer (Betty Jo); his brother Larry Davis (Regina); his sister-in-law Olivia Calhoun; his grandchildren, Delvin, Emone Jones of Willie Mitchell, III, Joshua Brewer, Joseph Brewer, Vanessa Brewer, Nichole Brewer and Melvin Cameron; and his nephew V. Jermaine Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
