He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Houseknecht and Jesse Houseknecht; and his sisters, Colleen, Pauline, Mary Jane and Elizabeth.

He is survived by: his children, Amy, Rebecca and Clinton; and his sister Dorothy.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jonesville District Library.
