He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rupp and Amanda Rupp (Lederman); his daughter Debra Jo Rupp Miller; and his brothers, Jimmy Rupp and Robert Rupp.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Rupp; his sons, Mark Rupp (Diane) of Mentor and Jeff Rupp (Loralee) of South Lyon, Michigan; and his siblings, Karen Hoag of Oren, Gene Rupp (Barbara) of Battle Creek, Larry Rupp of Lake Wylie and Lynn Rupp (Joyce) of Battle Creek, Michigan.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
At the family's request, masks are suggested for all services.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Jonesville United Methodist Church.
