He is survived by: his children, Victor Trachsel (Diane) of Jonesville and Marjorie Lunger (Terance) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Nicole Hancock (Matt), Tony Trachsel (Meagan), Kristen Kay (Pete), Kayla Miller (Mitchell), Luke, Noah Trachsel, Grace and Anna Lunger; his great grandchildren, Vance, Claire Hancock, Ziggy Kay, Winnie and Gus Trachsel; and his siblings, Stephen Trachsel (Ida), Patricia Strouss (Marvin), John Trachsel, Judy Newman (Mark) and Lori Stubbings (Kevin).
