He was predeceased by: his mother Mary; and his sister Jody. He is survived by: his sons, Peter Jr. (Michelle Smith) and Ryan Males (Chandra); his siblings, Denise Dobson (Rick), Barbara Vorves, Tula Kyprianides, George Kyprianides and Diane Kyprianides; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Ayden, Kaleb, Parker, Grant and Emma.
