She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Copeland and Dorothy Copeland (Brown); her former husband Donald Nye; her husband George Prosser; and her daughter LuAnne Gifford.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Nye of Camden, Cheryl Nye of Charlotte, Randy Nye (Lisa) of Camden and Marcia Hukill (Shawn) of Otsego; her grandchildren, Brian, Dana (Alex), Amber (Shae), Eric, Daniel (Anna), Kate, Kody (Shannon) and Kylie (Jacob); her stepsons, John Prosser (Diane) of Jonesville and Doug Prosser (Deb) of Jonesville; her stepgrandchildren, Mike (Brenda), Nicole (Jeremy) and Mitchell (Stephanie); and her siblings, Jane Dunlap of Angola and Robert Copeland (Marie) of Connecticut. She is also survived by five step great-grandchildren.
