He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brooks and Margaret Brooks (Russell); his former spouse Venna Lou DePratte; his grandparents, Clara, Ormon Russell, Timothy and Lillian Brooks; his mothers-in-law, Catherine Maass and Lillian Ruth Shilling; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Maass and Melvin Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Maass Iakiri; his children, Randy Brooks (Jamie) and Sandra Blonde (Bruce); his grandchildren, Leonard Iakiri (Tamara), Joel Iakiri (Shannon) and Rebecca Dietlein (Adam); his brother Addison Brooks (Deanna); his siblings-in-law, Patrick Maass (Beth), Elaine Campbell and Jo Maass; his grandchildren, Kate, Adam, Austin, Andrew, Christopher, Noah, Grace, Braylon, Ruben, Jack, Abraham and Beatrice; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Hudson, Jade, Jackson, Jacobson, Alivia, Alaina, Alexis and Ashton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
