With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlin Laray Peiffer (Jonesville, Michigan), born in Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Peiffer and Ileen Peiffer (Kimble); and his siblings, Phyllis McLouth, Darrell Peiffer and Eugene Peiffer.
He is survived by: his wife Minnta Davis of Jonesville; his daughter Tena Himes (Brian) of Sarasota, Florida; his grandchildren, Jordon and Jenna; his stepchildren, Dale Spahr (Julia) of Pasadena, Denise Norman (Robert) of Watertown, Dana Monroe (Ron) of Pittsford and Diane VanVoorhis (David) of Kalamazoo; and his brothers, Roy Peiffer (Katie) of Hillsdale, Marvin Peiffer of Hillsdale, Danny Peiffer (Janie) of Tecumseh and Neil Peiffer of Pittsford. He is also survived by eleven step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
