He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Lucas and Mabel Lucas (Smith); his son Robert Lucas; and his siblings, Dorothy Lovitt, Lillian Stimer and James Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Southfield; and his children, Bradley Lucas (Jill) of Jonesville, Amy Rosenberry (Christopher) of Litchfield, Deborah Deshler (Dennis) of Laingsburg, Steven Lucas (Danna) of Mosherville and Penny Gill (Dale) of Mason.
Memorials are suggested to the Litchfield Congregational Church.
