She was predeceased by: her parents, Lesslie Parsons and Katherine Parsons (Gross); her husband John "Bill" Gallup; and her siblings, Lesslie Parsons and Elizabeth "Betty" McDaniel.

She is survived by: her children, Janis K. Fritze of Portland and Michael Riggsbee (Mary Ann) of Jonesville. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eighteen step great-grandchildren; and six step great-great-grandchildren.
