She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Lyon and Hazel Lyon (Thomas); her husband William; her son David Eric; and her brother James Lyon.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Ford (Dick) of Camden, Fred Post (Deb) of Ionia, Steven Post (Candi) of Prescott Valley, AZ. and Jane Stone (Tim) of Hillsdale. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren.
