He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Roberts and Birdell Roberts (Andrews); his son Michael Roberts; his brother Thomas Roberts; his brother-in-law Jerry Smith; and his nephews, Thomas Smith and Terry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stough; his children, Daniel Roberts (Laurie) and Pamela Granberry (William); his grandchildren, Camille and Will Granberry; and his sisters, Carol Lefere (Jerry), Chloe Smith, Kathleen Jabour (Paul) and Cynthia "Suzy" Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
