He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Drake and Patricia Drake (Karney); his son Justin Drake; his brother Daryl Drake; and his nephews, Robert "Bob" Drake and Darrin Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Drake; his children, James Drake (Mallory) of Jonesville and Jennifer Keller (Frank) of Jonesville; his grandchildren, Cameron, Cowen, Kirstyn, Kendahl and Kody; and his sisters, Diane Cooley (Ron) of Jonesville and Debra "Deb" Griffiths (John) of Jonesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
