He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Rifenberg (Cunningham); his wife Charlotte Rifenberg; his father Olin A. Sr. Rifenberg; and his sisters, Vivian Christopherson (Norman) and Violet Rifenberg.

He is survived by: his children, Pandy Chiddister (Paul), Connie Rifenberg, Charlie Rifenberg and Bryan Rifenberg; his brother James Rifenberg (Dona); and his siblings-in-law, Janet Hartman (Bill) and Verlin Bristol.
