He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredric Leroy and Olive Dorthea Gushwa (Baker); his former wife Janet Linehan; and his brother Gary Gushwa. He is survived by: his wife Kristine Wittenberg (Kerr); and his children, Karen "Kay" Yearicks, II (David), David Gushwa, Stacie Hale (Jeremi), Stephen Gushwa (Ashley), Kevin Wittenburg, Brian Wittenberg (Samantha) and Sandra Kruszka. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
