She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bates and Edna Bates (Chiddister); her former husband James Pelon; her sisters, Vivian, Hilda Marie, Marjorie, Maralee, June and Norma; her siblings-in-law, Sharon Ruggles and Arthur Butcher; and her stepson James Butcher.
She is survived by: her husband Duane Butcher of Poe's Church; her daughters, Tami Ash, Staci Bates and Shannon Harmon (Ken); her stepchildren, Kathy Cordial, Duane Butcher Jr. (Amy) and Deanna Randol (Mike); her sister Judy Gavin; her siblings-in-law, Ellie Schwartz and Roger Butcher (Joyce); and her grandchildren, Alisha, Joshua, Amanda, Andrew, Elizabeth, Samantha, Emily and Grayson.
Donations in Connie's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
