She was predeceased by: her parents, John Degi and Marie Degi; her siblings, Diane Hatt and Paul Degi; her parents-in-law, Nelson and Jessie Longstreet; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon (Barbara Longstreet) and Joyce Ballast.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Longstreet; her daughters, Melinda Stuyvesant and Brenda Longstreet; her grandchildren, Amanda Knipp, Derek, Haley Stuyvesant, Angela, Aaron Seeley, Brian and Renae Longstreet; her great grandchildren, Sader, Sutton, Braylor, Zoe, Paige and Austin; her great great grandchild Evelyn; and her brother-in-law Rod Ballast. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baldwin St. Christian Reformed Church (2101 Baldwin St, Jenison, MI 49428).
