He is survived by: his wife Laurie Venema; his children, Heather and Brennan Aldrich; his siblings, Barb, Paul France, Wink Vander Heuvel, Mary and Gary Markert; and his mother-in-law Phyllis Venema. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
