She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her grandson Jordan Kooienga; and her great grandchild Blake VanOostenbrugge. She is survived by: her children, Beth Elzinga (Kel), Ruth Downey, Marsha Heyboer (Dann), Cryss Kooienga (Mike), Norma Rau (Dave), Henry Westra, Dirk Westra (Beth) and Myrna Boer (Ken); her brother Cornelius Jonker (Truda); and her sisters-in-law, Grace Westra, Arlene DeJong, Ann Westra and Coralynn Van.
