He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Baar and Theressa Baar; his son Ronald Lee; his son-in-law Steven Slagle; his grandchildren, Dyland, Steven Slagle and Hope Humphrey; and his brother-in-law Larry Ter Veen (Pat) of Diamond Lake.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Ter Veen (Murt); his daughters, Cindy Peterson (Jim) of State Road and Sherrie Slagle (Steve) of Oroville; his brother Jay Baar (Ruth) of Jenison; and his brother-in-law Roger Ter Veen (Judy). He is also survived by six Grand Children and nine Great Grandchildren.
