He was predeceased by: his wife Jan; his siblings, Herman Steenstra, Hazel Dunn and Judy Schalk; and his brother-in-law John Vonk.
He is survived by: his children, Traci, Rex Gulch, Tim, Ami Steenstra and Tony Steenstra; his grandchildren, Bailey Gulch, Hunter Gulch and Alexis Steenstra; his great grandchildren, Kinzlee and Sarrah; his siblings, Marilyn, Bob Ebels, Petie Vonk, Dave, Linda Steenstra, Ethel Steenstra and Norman Schalk; his siblings-in-law, Dave, Nancy Tiesma, Barb, Larry VerHage, Frank and Young Sook Tiesma; and his friends, Don and Marianne Fredricks. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
