He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mingerink and Ann Mingerink; and his brothers, Marvin and Lloyd Mingerink. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mingerink (Smits); his brother Jay Mingerink; and his children, Debra Hoffman (Gary), Robert Mingerink (Denise) and Rick Mingerink (Donna). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
