He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Boomstra and Grace Boomstra; and his siblings, Gord and Eloise. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boomstra; his children, Pam Heethuis (Randy), Todd Boomstra (Andrea) and Shawn Boomstra (Janna); and his siblings, Peter Boomstra and Esther Powell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In honor of Preston, contributions may be made to the local Christian schools.
