He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Edith Orbeck, Sr. (Hoekstra); and his sisters, Wilma (Paul Bouman), Angie Van Dongen and Shirley Buwalda.
He is survived by: his wife Martha (Wisse); and his children, Sharon, Paul Ritsema, Kenneth, Eva Orbeck, Laura and Don VandenBerg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law.
