She was predeceased by: her husband Gelmer Winkels. She is survived by: her children, Donald (Shelley Winkels), Sharon (Ray Hall), Deb (Mike Shepard) and Cindy (Ron Van Dam); her brother Henry J.; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Peuler and Doris Brinks. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
