She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil "Pete" Peterson; her son Robert Peterson; her son-in-law Robin Miller; her grandson Robert Peterson II; her siblings, Ken Lowing and Marilyn Barker (Irv); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Kamminga and Martha Miedema (Ken).
She is survived by: her children, Diane Van Leeuwen (Al), Jim Peterson and Brenda Miller; her daughter-in-law Cindy Peterson; her grandchildren, Matthew (Stacie), Mary (Chris), Amy (Scott), Melissa (Corey), Mike (Katie), Tim (Stephanie), Austin (Alyssa) and Taylor; her sister Janet VanDyke (Andy); and her sisters-in-law, Maxine Lowing, Jane Kamminga and Nancy Verkaik (Hank). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
