He was predeceased by: his parents, Loring Wesley and Harriet Blain; his brother John; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his son James; his daughter-in-law Carey Gordon; his daughters, Amy Hoek (Scott), Mandy Thomas (Aaron) and Robyn Schopp (Jason); his grandchildren, Lauren Gordon, Morgan Beard (Nate), Gabriel Gordon, Scott Hoek II, Elisabeth Karlie MacDonald (Jeffery), Abby Hoek, Evelyn Gordon, Bridget Thomas and Tristan Thomas; his great grandchildren, Amelia and Clara Beard; and his brother Tom Gordon (Diane).
Donations in Mark's name can be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of his son Mike and his mother, Harriet, who were both lost to cancer.
