She was predeceased by: her husband Claude; her grandchildren, Leigh Chapman and Keith Hesselink; and her siblings, Vernon Verduin and Arlene VanderLaan.
She is survived by: her children, Ardy Chapman (Leighton), Adele Shannon (Craig), Ed Wierenga (Deb), Rick Wierenga (Vi) and Arla Hesselink (Ross); her brother Wendell Verduin (Kelly); and her brother-in-law John Wierenga (Mary Kay). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren.
