She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Swarthout and Irene Swarthout; her husband Robert "Gene" Walton; and her son Raymond Walton. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Walton (Julie), Terry Walton (Sally), Glen Walton (Tammy) and Dan Walton (Elaine); and her sister Betty Maynard (Jim). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Contributions in memory of Kay may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
