He was predeceased by: his former wife Susan Bogema; his father Johan Bogema; his parents-in-law, Harold and Esther VanderKodde; and his brother-in-law Myrle Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Bogema; his children, Todd, Tonja Bogema, Troy and Jamie Bogema; his stepchildren, Steve Herring, Jamie Schaub, Amy, David Miller, Jennifer and Brian DeKorte; his siblings, Ron and Dawn; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Monroe and Jerry. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
