Jean VanderSteen Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean VanderSteen (Jenison, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 84, on January 5, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her husband Dirk; and her daughters, Joy Engelsman (Bob), Deb Lenters (Mark) and Cheryl Westra (BJ).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairway Christian Reformed Church (1165 44th St SW, Jenison, MI 49428). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Jean, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Fairway CRC Outreach.
