She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Popma and Janet Popma; and her husband Edward "EJ" Levering. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda VanderHorn (Greg), Margo Yakes (Jeff) and Joshua Levering (Candy); her grandchildren, Nicole Galvan (Matthew), Martin Yakes (Jeslyn), Allie Yakes, Peter VanderHorn and Ezra Yakes; and her siblings, Doug Popma (Diane), Tom Popma (Beatriz) and Pat McCormick.
