He was predeceased by: his son Randall Dale Van Koevering; his parents, John Koevering and Fannie Van Koevering; his siblings, Philip Van Koevering, Dale Van Koevering, Lois (Chuck Aardema), Genevieve (Ken Branderhorst), Geraldine (Otto Terpstra), Mark Van Koevering and Craig (Diane Terpstra); and his nephew Doug Van Koevering.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Van Koevering; his children, Brenda (Walt Honeycutt), Darlene (Michael Townshend), Brian (Janie Van Koevering), Jill (Mick Tisron) and Troy (Lindsey Van Koevering); his stepchildren, Terry, Todd, Kathy, Karen and Sean; and his brother David. He is also survived by spouses; many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
