He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Hurd; and his daughter Rhonda Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Jeri; his children, Doug Hurd (Patty), Roger Hurd (Jessi), Tami Garza (Roland), Jim Robinson (Farrah) and Angie Brandt (Shane); his grandchildren, Brandon Webster, Amanda Hurd, Jason Hurd, Eric Cencich, Ashley Terbeek (Ross), Jazmine Garza, Shay Brandt, Dana Prylo, Chuck Woodman, Jay Brandt and Makenzie Garza; his brother Jim Hurd; and his parents-in-law, Bob Sullivan (Sharon), Lester Sullivan (Merle), Ed Sullivan and Darlene Kline (Bob). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
