He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Batey and Margaret Batey; and his siblings, Richard Batey and Geraine Schmuker. He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Volk (Ernest) and LuAnn Robinson (Gary); his niece Renee Heald; his close friend Milessa Kolasa; and his brother-in-law Gordon Schmuker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
