He was predeceased by: his father William Smits. He is survived by: his daughters, Mandy Austhof (Bernard) and Tauna Parfait; his mother Nancy Smits; and his sisters, Sally Meyer (Roger) and Pam Kuyers (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
