He was predeceased by: his wife Tena; his children, Linda Buit and Paul Gordon; and his grandson Steve Van Singel. He is survived by: his children, Terry Buit, Doug (Swanda Van Singel), Jan (Mark Janke) and Nancy (Bob Slusser); his grandchildren, Melody, Craig Newhouse, Jeff, Kerrie Buit, Heidi, Greg Gelder, Brandon, Amber Van Singel, Brad, Beth Van Singel, Dave, Kelly Janke, Dan Janke, Tim, Maria Janke, Darcy Slusser, Tena, Tony Hassevoort, Tricia Slusser, Troy Slusser and Trevor Slusser; and his sister-in-law Connie Van Singel. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
