She was predeceased by: her parents, John VanArk and Alyda VanArk; her husbands, Warren Nysson and Lloyd Slagter; and her brother Bunk VanArk.
She is survived by: her sister Sandy Katsma (Bob); her sister-in-law Norma VanArk; her daughters, Nancy Armock (Tom) and Betsy Goldsmith (Tom); and her grandchildren, Trace, Lakynn, Cole Goldsmith, Shama, Brennen, Ashlyn Westra, Glo, MaKenna, Brody, Armock, Go Go, Chuck, Susan, Tristen and Ellie Martinie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and stepchildren.
