He was predeceased by: his sons, Randy and Kenneth; and his children-in-law, Alvin DeVries and Sharon Van Leeuwen. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Jan DeVries, Gary, Sylvia Van Leeuwen, Mary and Don Postma; his daughter-in-law Terri Van Leeuwen; and his sisters-in-law, Beatrice VanHouten, Marian Hoeksema, Maxine Doornbos and Neve Doornbos. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
