He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Nugent and Leona Nugent. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Wally Nugent, Adele Nugent, Jerry (Lori Nugent) and Dawn (Devin Norman); his grandchildren, Korina, Justin, Casey, Joshua, Rachael, Hunter, Savannah and Ellery; and his siblings, Ralph Nugent, Kathy, Roy Gilbert, Richard and Dottie Nugent. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Veteran's Administration or to Spectrum Health Hospice.
