George E. Kinney Jr. Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Kinney Sr. and Ruth Rose Kinney; his siblings, Donald Kinney and Barbara Danke; and his former wife Gloria Kinney (Homrich).
He is survived by: his sister Georgia "Cookie" LaPonsie (Oscar LaPonsie); his children, Stephanie (Brandon DeByle), Dana Wilmer-Lucas (Bernard Lucas) and Richard Kinney (Wendy Zakarias); his grandchildren, George Wilmer, Camden DeByle and Abbey Kinney; and his wife Mary Kinney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Parish (2700 Baldwin St, Jenison, MI 49428). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of George and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids and/or to the Brian Bush Putt for Life Memorial.
