He was predeceased by: his daughter Shawne Burton; and his siblings, Kenneth Burton, Randall Burton, Willard Burton and Wilma Runyon.
He is survived by: his wife Darolyn; his daughters, Kitty Scheffers (Robert Skarjune) and Lisa Byxbe (Dwayne); his siblings, Glenn Burton (Imogene) and Annette Brown (John); and his grandchildren, Leah Smith (Matt), Nathan Scheffers (Lindsay), Dwayne Byxbe Jr. (Jennifer), Tara Renbarger (Brian) and Wade Byxbe (Rachel). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and masks will be required.
Memorial contributions in George's honor may be directed to a charity of choice.
